Covidien 2 Gal Sharps Container

The Cardinal Health 2 Gallon Red Sharps Container with Rotor Lid, (formerly Covidien 8970), is a multi-purpose, puncture-resistant sharps container to properly store hazardous waste from used needles. The lid features an adjustable rotating opening to accommodate a variety of sharp sizes. It is a 2-gallon container to provide adequate storage space. It comes with holders and brackets to mount the container to free up counter space. It's easy to see through the container's opaque red pigment to know the level. The sticker provides a maximum fill line. The Sharps container 8970 is used for either temporary or permanent storage. When ready for final disposal, there is a safety lock feature to prevent opening.

The sharps container is available for purchase individually or a case of 20. When purchasing by the case the containers are stackable making it easy to stock up when purchasing for a hospital or clinic.
